Lawful Basis for Processing
For users in the EU/EEA, we process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR:
- Contractual necessity: We need your email, GitHub username, and payment information to deliver the product you've subscribed to.
- Legitimate interest: We use machine identifiers and IP addresses for license validation and security monitoring. You can object to this processing at any time.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain your Swarm Stack subscription
- Grant repository access via GitHub
- Validate your license when the software starts up
- Send essential service communications (billing, security notices, major updates)
- Process payments through Stripe
- Monitor for unauthorized use or security incidents
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your data for marketing purposes
- Use your data for profiling or targeted advertising
Cookies & Analytics
Website (5warm.ai): We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Swarm Stack software: The software itself does not use cookies or analytics. License validation calls transmit only the data described in the table above.

Data Retention
- Active subscription: We retain your data for as long as your subscription is active
- After cancellation: We delete your personal data within 30 days
- License validation logs: Retained for 90 days, then deleted
- On request: You can request immediate deletion at any time
Data Storage & Security
Your data is processed and stored as follows:
- Subscription data: Stored on Cloudflare infrastructure
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant)
- Repository access: Managed through GitHub
- License validation: Processed by Cloudflare Workers
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
International Transfers
Jorvik LLC is a US-based company. Your data is primarily processed in the United States and on global infrastructure operated by our service providers. For users in the EU/EEA, these transfers are supported by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you are located, we extend the following rights to all users:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction: Fix any inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request we delete your data
